Refund Policy
This Refund Policy governs the financial handling of cancellations and rescheduling requests for all private yacht charters booked through Yacht
Hilton Head.
1. Booking and Deposit Policy (Non-Refundable)
To secure your date and ensure the vessel and our fully crewed staff are reserved exclusively for you, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.
● The deposit is non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to, client cancellation. The deposit covers the administrative costs, date blocking, and preparations required for your private luxury experience.
● The final payment (remaining balance) is due [5 days] prior to the charter date.
2. Client Cancellation Policy (Forfeiture of Funds)
Due to the exclusive nature of a luxury yacht charter Hilton Head, our cancellation policy is firm. When you book a date, we commit the vessel and crew, often turning away other bookings for that slot.

Financial Outcome
Forfeiture of the non-refundable deposit.
Remaining payments/balance (if any) will be
refunded.
Forfeiture of the entire charter fee.
Exception for Less than 30 Days: If you cancel and we are able to rebook the
same vessel for the same date and time slot, we will issue a credit or refund forthe amount paid, minus the deposit and a standard administrative fee. This
determination is made after the original scheduled charter date.
3. Weather Cancellation Policy (Captain’s Discretion)
The safety and comfort of our guests are our top priority. Cancellations due toweather are made solely at the discretion of the Captain.
Captain Determines Unsafe
If the Captain cancels the charter due to genuinely unsafe conditions (high winds, severe thunderstorms, hurricanes, or other hazardous sea conditions), you will be offered two
options: 1. Reschedule: Rebook your private yacht charter for
an available date within one year. 2. Full Refund: Receive a full
refund of all charter payments made, including the initial
deposit.
Rain or Light ShowersRain alone does not constitute a valid reason for cancellation. Our luxury vessels offer spacious indoor and covered areas. The charter will proceed, and no refund will be issued.
Forecasted
Weather Weather cancellations are only made on the day of the charter by the Captain. We will not cancel based on a multi-day forecast.
4. Policy on Early Termination by the Captain
If the Captain is forced to terminate a charter early due to dangerous, unruly, or illegal conduct by any guest, or if the guest count exceeds the USCG limit, no refund or credit will be issued for any portion of the charter time lost.
